Running Your Race

We’re in the dawning of a new day in our nation and around the world. Recently, we have seen the departure of great saints of God. Their lives have impacted multitudes and they made their lasting mark in our world. But the time has come for those of us who remain to pick up the baton and continue the work. Elisha could not begin his ministry until Elijah was removed. Joshua could not lead the nation of Israel to the Promised Land until Moses died. Solomon could not build the temple for God until David’s earthly life ended.

It is normal to feel inadequate in comparison to those who have gone before us but we must remember this…the same God who called them has called us! The baton is in our hand now. It is our time to make a difference and advance God’s Kingdom on earth. At the leading of the Holy Spirit, we will accomplish all that God has ordained for our lives. So hold the baton tightly, put one foot in front of the other and run your race!

"Forgetting those things that are behind, and reaching forth to what lies ahead, I press on toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." – Phil. 3:13-14
